Dice Like Ice

Happy Halloween! We're back this year with another movie review. We decided to watch Peter Jackson's first ever film Bad Taste. We then said it was kind of shit and decided to watch another of his films, Braindead (also known as Dead-Alive in America). It is an absolutely bonkers film in the same vein as the Evil Dead movies, but somehow with even more gore and gags. Do yourself a favor and check it (and this episode) out this Halloween season.

And if you decide that you enjoy our way of reviewing movies, be sure to check out our Patreon! We've got a load of reviews of movies based on video-games, the most recent of which was the surprisingly good new Resident Evil movie. And hey, if you sub to the Patreon then you also get Discord access, so that's neat.

Well, we survived the stupidness that was our episode 69 recording, Tony survived the American highway system driving to and from Nova and Andrew survived his first ever Apocalypse game. Give the episode a listen for a recap of that, as well as our thoughts on the GW Big Autumn Reveal that recently happened.Interested in some bonus episodes or joining our Discord? Well, we finally made it to the funny number (nice). Today we do a dumb bit brought to you by the very sculptors of Games Workshop. That's right, we're looking at the best asses of Warhammer!Seriously, I spent an hour looking at tiny plastic butts...the least you can do is sign up for a month of Patreonhttps://www.patreon.com/dicelikeice

Long delay between posts because once again life gets in the way, and yet we persevere to try and bring you some yucks. We were finally able to sit down and discuss the rad new models revealed during the Big Summer Preview (we did discuss the new Ogres, but Tony's audio got a little weird so it had to be cut. We think they're cool!), and then we had another great (dumb?) bit where we discuss the most useful of Tech-Priest upgrades. Our Patreon- https://www.patreon.com/dicelikeice

Sorry about the delay on this one, but if you recall waaaaaay back to episode 66 then you'll remember Tony saying that he bought a house. Well, moving takes ages, so here we are. It's also why it sounds like Tony is recording inside of an empty warehouse. Whoops. He'll have something on the walls for episode 68 that will help with that.

Anyway, we're back! Today we discuss the passing of an absolute hobby legend, go over a boatload of new Warhammer related video games, and discuss just what exactly makes for a fun and fair casual experience in tabletop wargaming.

Wow, life sure got in the way of getting this one recorded. Hopefully we'll be back to our usual recording schedule soon. Anyway, today we discuss the end of an edition of 40k, the start of the new one and a cool box of models that are coming with it.

Games played, hobby progress, blah blah blah. Today we're here to talk about some wildly good AdeptiCon reveals and how Tony will be sleeping in a fort made out of the boxes of all the new models he'll be getting.

Bit of a slow news cycle since we last recorded, so we're coming at you with another dumb bit that somehow snowballed into about an hour of us yapping. Also, the usual hobby progress (Good god, so much this week), games played and WarCom news. Check it out!

After four failed attempts to record, we're back! Scheduling issues can be hell, but at least we were finally able to sit down and discuss some brand new reveals (most of which seem to be aimed squarely at Andrew). We also both finally got our hands on the physical rulebook for Trench Crusade, and do a bit of a deep dive into that setting.

Another year, another podcast! Today we're looking back at what we accomplished in 2025, resolutions we may or may not have accomplished, games played, et cetera and so forth. And through it all, we look back at some absolute banger models and games that came out. Give it a listen, and have a happy New Year (approximately 2 weeks late, whoops)!
